Lips touch three times=GR siginificance of title
In the book, Lips Touch Three Times written by Laini Taylor, there is a big significance in the title of the text. More especially with the three times part because the book is broken down into three different stories. There names are Goblin fruit, Spicy little curses such as these, and Hatchling. The story of goblins and demons who hunt and prey on young low self-esteem innocent girls is the basis of the stories in each three sections. But their tactics and overall ways they go about hunting, is what changes through each section. Its very interesting that a person sets themselves up to be either a worker an server for heaven, or a slave in hell. And in this story that simple decision is made quickly by turning down the offerings of the goblins or excepting them. For example the the first section of the book is called goblin fruit. The goblins offer fresh exotic fruit such as pineapple, peaches, kiwi, and pomegranate to young girls. If they turn down the fruit then that's a sign of a strong mind and soul that cant be tampered with, let alone cursed. But if their that strongly tempted by the goblin fruit and cant resist eating it, that's a sign of a weak mind and someone weak minded can be easily influenced and even worse cursed. I'm very impressed so far with the text and storyline in this book. The title grabbed my attention and made me anxious to understand what it means, and it relates to the three stories enlisted in the book in ways you couldn't even imagine!
