Lips touch three times-free choice
In my reading of the book Lips touch three times by Laini Taylor, I've reached the second story of the book. This story is titled (Spicy little curses such as these) which deals highly in the planning of curses and the negotiations of souls and curses traded between demons and goblins. It's kind of weird how they plan their curses on innocent people in the world who by know shape or form have done any wrong in their lives, they just get caught in the line of fire of these goblins. They sit in hell and plot/barter on the souls of people and make decisions on who must be cursed and sacrificed in order to save others. For example An English woman/ demon named Estella had been bargaining with a dwarf male demon named Vasudev. Vasudef wanted Estella to put a curse on a political figure's baby daughter. The only way Estella agreed to place the curse on the baby, was if Vasudef would save the lives of 10 children he had cursed to die in an Indian village named Kashmiri. Estella felt that it was better to curse one baby rather than let ten innocent children die. But the curse she put on the child would lead to the killing of more innocent people. Anyone who came in contact and had a conversation with the girl would die instantly after she talked to them. It seems to me that even though Estella saved the lives of the children in India, she only contradicted herself because she still placed another curse that would eventually harm and kill people. Its confusing because she obviously has some type of morale or compassion and isn't purely evil like the dwarf Vasudev. Maybe not all the goblins and demons are truly evil

GR- My thoughts of Kizzy
So far in my readings of the book "Lips touch three times by Laini Taylor i've came to a certain conclusion about one of the main characters in the story of goblin fruit, Kizzy. Kizzy is a teenage girl who is not the most attractive girl in her high school, and overall quite envious of the girls she views as pretty. Kizzy is a very low self-esteem girl and she feels she has reason to be. Especially having a family that believes in immortality, and that a person dies and goes on to their second life. And with this belief also came the rituals she had to take place in as far as the way they said goodbye to their loved ones and the items and tools they buried them with. Kizzie's low self esteem issues are the main reason why she was spotted out by the goblins in the first place because someone of that caliber could be easily influenced or persuaded into something as simple as tasting a fruit. They observed her very carefully and noticed what she likes as far as boys and the physical traits she was attracted to and looking for. With the goblin being disguised as a new boy at school who was very handsome and caught the eyes of all the other girls there, its not hard to see why Kizzy fell for him so quickly. She was blinded by his beauty and charm to realize what the new boy Jack Husk was after and what type of demon he really was. Kizzie's only problem is that of being blinded by his exterior traits and not realizing he was after her soul. And sure enough she gives it to the goblin willingly when she bites the apricot and peach he offered her which was nothing more than goblin fruit!

Lips touch three times.=Free choice
In my reading of the book "Lips touch three times" by Laini Taylor, I’ve come to the understanding that I’m a big fan of fiction tales. So far within reading this story, I love how the stories that are being told and I have a great appreciation for the way the book is structured. Its broke down into three different stories and each story has its own section. I personally think that the way the stories told are sectioned make them easier to understand because each section has different characters and plots as well as settings. It keeps your attention and you don’t get bored with book because all the stories are kind of related to the main purpose of the book which is goblins and demons who pray on low self-esteem females that are weak minded and gullible. It’s also a bit strong on the romantic side and has a lot of affection and relationship drama which makes it even more realistic and interesting in my opinion. It reminds me of movies like Blade, or The night of the living Dead, you know movies that are highly fictional but tell great stories about how people are tempted by something and later turned into something evil because they couldn’t control their temptation. So far I’ve gotten through two sections of the book and I’m nearing the third and final section. And I can absolutely say that Lips touch three times has disappointed me yet.
